You're proud owner but completely new to rad1o? Check out the HOWTO pages where you'll learn how to let rad1o display your nickname, update the firmware etc. Remember: It's a wiki - feel free to improve the HOWTO pages or add new ones to help others. THANK YOU!
We continuously improve the rad1o firmware. Be sure to keep your rad1o up-to-date.

The rad1o badge contains a full-featured SDR (software defined radio) half-duplex transceiver, operating in a frequency range of about 50 MHz - 4000 MHz, and is software compatible to the HackRF....continue




Things to bring

  • Micro USB cable
  • OTG cable, if you would like to use the badge with your mobile phone (Wikipedia)
  • Portable Display Screen Equipment, ideally with selected software pre-installed
  • external power bank
  • external antenna (Antennas)
  • LEDs (WS2812B LEDs) (8 LEDs per badge, see RGB LEDs for details)
  • something to cover the light sensitive chip (the silver shiny bar below the display) on the display (e.g. a dark permanent marker, nail polish, or a dark sticker)
