* Portable Display Screen Equipment, ideally with [[:software|selected software]] pre-installed
* external power bank
* external antenna  ([[:hardware|Antennas]])
* LEDs (WS2812B LEDs) (8 LEDs per badge, see [[:hardware#RGB LEDs]] for details)
* something to cover the light sensitive chip (the silver shiny bar below the display) on the display (e.g. a dark permanent marker, nail polish, or a dark sticker)
